Our water jet cutting machine Omax 55100

CORTENSTEEL; many of my artworks are made of corten steel.
Corten steel is an alloy of iron - copper - chromium - nickel and zinc.
The processing and strength can be compared with stainless steel.
The steel forms a dense oxide skin (patina) when in contact with air and moisture
Due to the protective layer, the steel lasts 50 to 100 years without paint and maintenance.
In the first months, some rust water can drain during outdoor placement.
This can cause stains on walls or on pavement.
The photo shows the color change over the course of 3 to 18 months

The above wall decoration is made of 5 mm thick stainless steel, dimensions 220x195 cm
As a guideline for the design, the letterhead of the relevant primary school "De Driemaster" was used.

The floating inflatable flower vase, is a design by Kas Oosterhuis.
The vase floats on the indoor pond of a town hall.

The boat is a product enlargement that I have developed.
The wheelhouse, is carried around the waist and the whole is kept at height by shoulder straps.
The goal is to promote the product by handing out bags of candy.
